Tasting notes:

Nose: Rich, luscious. Aromas of raisins, apricot jam, quince jelly, and rose petals underscore the noble influence of Port wine on the aromatic profile. This then becomes increasingly malty, peppery, exquisitely woody (sandalwood, oak), and empyreumatic (cherry in brandy).

Palate: Lively, elegant. After a tangy attack (lemon), the flavor profile unfolds with notes of café au lait, praline, and dried fruit (walnut, date). These creamy notes gradually give way to dark fruits (cherry, blueberry) and exotic fruits (mango, persimmon). Then, an evolution towards more tertiary tones (porcini mushroom, lichen) is observed.

Finish: Balanced and smooth. Notes of anise, fresh ginger, cumin, and salted caramel define a finish with a deliciously indulgent texture. Over time, malted barley grains spread abundantly across the palate. Later, the dry extracts from the empty glass shine with their balsamic, infused (milk tea), and spicy (cardamom) freshness.
