Tasting notes：

Nose: Rich and unctuous. Supported by a pleasant malty bitterness and earthy, spicy notes (cinnamon), the aromatic palette quickly opens onto tropical fruits (passion fruit, lychee), dark berries (grape, blackberry) and undergrowth notes (dry leaves, porcini mushrooms). Subtle hints of prune lend an added sense of nobility.

Palate: Clean and lively. Initially oily, robustly peaty, lemony and peppery, the flavour profile gradually shifts towards more honeyed and waxy tones. Becoming increasingly creamy, it grows more indulgent (toasted bread, rusk), malty (barley porridge) and deliciously fruity (mirabelle plum, damson).

Finish: Long and concentrated. Echoing the malty character of both nose and palate, the finish is refreshed by flavours of gentian, mint, eucalyptus and sage. Both exotic (passion fruit) and candied (prune), the retro-nasal olfaction softens progressively with notes of toffee and bourbon vanilla.
