Tasting notes:

Nose: Ample, deep. Extremely delicate and captivating, the aromatic palette is at once mineral (slate), lemony, floral (daisy, dandelion), herbaceous (tobacco), medicinal (mustard seed), honeyed (acacia), iodized and very subtly peaty.

Palate: Nuanced, elegant. Initially, flavors of barley sugar, roasted pineapple, and chamomile gently permeate the taste buds. Then, the flavor profile becomes increasingly saline, maritime (shellfish, seaweed), licorice-like, and empyreumatic (charcoal, embers).

Finish: Tender, mature. Fully developed, it reveals candied notes (lemon), noblely spiced notes (clove, saffron), rustic aromas (wildflowers), and chocolate. Then, flavors of plantain, zucchini blossom, and green licorice enrich an impressively long retro-nasal finish. Aromas of Havana cigars and mentholated peat waft from the empty glass.
