Tasting notes：

Nose: There’s a thin veneer of Pedro Ximénez (dried fruits, sultanas) atop a basket of exotic fruits (pineapple, guave and the like). I can’t yet immediately decide if this is a good thing, or if the cask finish is a disrupting influence. Also slivers of varnish, rock pools and fresh seaweed alongside subtle peat smoke.

Palate: A pleasing waxy texture with sweet, exotic fruits from the get-go. Tinned pineapple, mango, guava and pink grapefruit with a coastal edge, light pepper-y touches and a faint medicinal peat smoke, as well as some subtle aniseed notes.

Finish: Medium to long. Fruity, somewhat coastal, but yes, mostly fruit.
