Tasting notes：

Nose: Immediately mature with polshed wood, beeswax and a touch of old furniture wax Behind that ripe apple, pear and drled citrus, with asalty mineral edge that screams Orkney. With time, nutty notes appear, almond and walnut, almost shery like, alongside a hint of leatherand gentle heathery sweetness.

Palate: Smooth, lightly oily texture with fruit spreading wide: orchard fruit, citrus zest and a faintly more tropical layer in the background. Therefill hogshead leaves room for distilate character and minerality, while the nuttiness and polished oak tones add depth. Very subtlesmoke and heather honey drift through without taking over, and everything stays tightly balanced.

Finish: Long and surprisingly complex at 46.6%. Salinity, wax and nutty oak linger, with a dry. elegant grip typical of well aged refill wood. Thefruit quietens down, but the mineral tension and old school character keep humming for a long time.
