Tasting notes：

Nose: Earthy, intense and rich, dominated by the first-fill sherry influence. Hints of maggi, soy, a light chocolate dusting… Well, not so light actually. Also hazelnuts, cedar, dates and some redcurrants, but mostly a dry-ish sherry influence. There’s a summer fruit salad lingering the background somewhere, adding balance.

Palate: A coating mouthfeel. Rich and savoury with hints of rancio, a herbaciousness and strawberries. Then ristretto, a touch of black pepper and a whisper of fennel seeds. Hints of sage too, and even tobacco. That sherry cask…

Finish: Long. Prunes, more tobacco and dark chocolate.
