Tasting notes：

Nose: Subdued pineapple notes and some dried, a bit planky oak with a wisp of aspirin. With some time and a bit of water it becomes characterful: no boring everyday sweet bourbon- or wine-infused whisky this. Some medicinal touches, rhubarb, and maybe a touch of gooseberries.

Palate: Strangely silky and nice neat. Doesn't feel at all like >50%. The taste is a bit musty, medicinal, with some licorice and a fruitiness I can't describe. Maybe an unripe passion fruit? It does get a bit boozy with a touch of water, but some more thankfully puts it back in order. Wet chalk and gooseberries.

Finish: Somewhat dry. Water helps it stick around longer. The taste is certainly distinctive if not 90+. I'm happy to have come across this one.
