Tasting notes：

Nose: Neat, it's slightly smoky, with a subtle note of smoked ham, followed by grain, oil, a hint of citrus, and musty hay. Nicely rounded. With water, it becomes a bit smoother. Perhaps somewhere in the distance, there's a hint of a chocolate wrapper washed up on the beach.

Palate: A full, rounded start with smoke, malt, slightly astringent, and hints of Burgundy ham. The alcohol is very well integrated, leaving a light tingle on the tongue like a pinch of white pepper; it can easily be drunk neat. Matured appropriately for its age. Typical Caol Ila notes are present but subtle.

Finish: Rather long finish, smoke, herbal candy, slightly maritime mineral note.
