Tasting notes：

Nose: Very elegant, ethereal. Just a light smokiness and sooty quality, but that’s not the prevailing quality of this mature Ardmore. It’s mostly a delicate waxiness with tinned tropical fruits and a light, milky porridge note. Also mineral-esque with hints of limestone. In a way it’s very regal.

Palate: Proper waxy texture. Mouthcoating. On the palate too its soft phenols and ripe, tropical fruits leading the way. Hints of lemons, some papaya and orange peel. Slightly honeyed, a gentle earthiness and some mint alongside a pinch of white pepper. Not that I expected it to be, but just to emphasise: the low abv is not an issue in the slightest.

Finish: Short to medium length. Just a tad dry. Gentle orchard fruits and pollen.
